Most attributes of folders and volumes are the same as those for files; only those that differ are shown here.
These folder and volume attributes can not be modified by File Buddy:
Size Information
For folders, the Size info is the count of items contained in the folder, the total size, and the total disk space used.
For volumes, the Capacity info gives the capacity of the volume, including the size and number of allocation blocks. The Available field shows the free space on the volume. The Used info lists for volumes what the Size field lists for folders.
Kind
For folders, the kind displayed immediately underneath the item name is always “Folder.”
For volumes, the kind is “Volume” followed by the format of the volume in parentheses.
Location on disk
For volumes, the Where field is always the name of the volume.
